I have been with Histon Hornets Football Club Since 2010 this is when I started to coach this talented group of players. I also played for Hornets from u8 to u16s and have lived in the village for over 30 years.

Our football philosophy is very much about playing positive football. If you want to define it:- We like to play attacking creative football but always with a tactical discipline. The template for all of our hard work is our fantastic organisation.

The team work on four phases of the game. They work on opening up the pitch and build-up (Play) through the team; so our construction from behind, we look to phase of creating opportunities and taking those opportunities. They then look at two phases of transition, which is very important to the way they play  

The team have won numerous trophies over the years and proved to be one of the best teams in their age group.

I have held many positions within Histon Hornets over the years and it was an absolute pleasure to help assist Wayne with this squad. I am very vocal and the boys know exactly what is required. 

Working alongside Wayne we have put various plans in place to ensure these boys can develop and continue to grow in character and take their football to the next level.
