Parking for Histon and Impington Recreation Ground or Impington Village College pitches.

The general parking facilities at the Histon and Impington Recreation Ground are small and in recent seasons have become dangerous with players being dropped off and collected at times when cars are entering and leaving the area, for this reason we are asking that only managers or drivers who require blue badge parking use the recreation ground car park and other visitors to the Rec use the below parking facilities.
If your teams KO time is between 9:30am and 10:30am please can you use the ‘Histon Football Club Car Park’ which is accessible via Bridge Road, this car park is closed to the public at 13:00 so please be mindful to only park there for the early KO.
Entrance to the pitches can be found either via a gate in-between the Cambs FA building and Cricket practice nets or via the play area at the entrance to Histon FC and Bridge Road. Please be careful if you are walking up/down the approach road as other vehicles will be entering/leaving the parking area.
If your KO time is later than 10:30am please use either the Histon Hornets Matchday Parking available at the IVC Car Park shown on the map below and walk 8 mins down New Road to the Histon & Impington Recreation Ground or The BioScience Car Park on Chivers Way, shown on the map and a 5 minute walk from the Recreation Ground.
You can type ‘Histon Hornets Matchday Parking’ into Google Maps to get directions if required from outside the village. Cars are parked at the owners' risk at all locations.
Safety information - No dogs allowed except for guide dogs.
A Defibrillator is located on the outside of the Recreation Ground Pavilion near the WC.

Impington Village College (IVC) Sports Field.
Some of our teams games are held at Impington Village College Sports Fields which are located at the back of IVC, Managers ONLY and Blue Badge holder parking is marked on the map below and is nearer the pitches to accommodate the carrying of benches, drinks etc.
Player’s parents, family, carers parking is in the main ‘IVC Car Park’ and located 2 minutes from the pitches, the car park is also near the WC and Sports Centre Cafe.
